THIS CASE
Automated inbound process at GXO
Challenge
How to increase efficiency and productivity?
Since 2022, GXO and Lowpad have collaborated to automate their logistics processes. That year, GXO implemented the Lowpad S to automate outbound operations. The positive experiences with the outbound process formed the basis for the next step: automating inbound to increase efficiency and productivity further.
Solution
Future proof and scalable automated inbound
The key advantage of Lowpad for GXO was the seamless integration into existing warehouses, docks, and load carriers, without the need for major rebuilds. The Lowpad F can be scaled up with additional vehicles or relocated to other sites. If customer needs change, the AMRs can easily be redeployed. With this flexibility and scalability, GXO shows that automation doesn’t have to be rigid but can instead be a tool for agile, future-ready operations.
“Ultimately, we chose Lowpad because it gave us the most flexibility. No fixed docks or layouts required – we can use the space for other processes when needed. Flexibility and scalability, that’s what Lowpad brings us.”
