At the handover position, the Lowpad picks up the trolley and transports it to the correct loading dock. Lowpads can be easily integrated into existing warehouses without the need for major adaptations. Even manual handovers are possible as the Lowpad can adjust to minor deviations in trolley placement. The Lowpad's ingenious LiDar system accurately determines the position of your trolley and lifts it up for transportation every time. The pickup process is not just physical. Lowpads come with customizable Organisor software that can be integrated with any WMS-software. This allows for each trolley to be assigned a unique ID, making it ready for the next step in the process. 

Lowpad vehicles need to be charged regularly to operate efficiently. To facilitate this, charging stations have been installed at specific locations. When the Lowpads run low on battery, they will automatically locate the nearest charging station and recharge themselves.

Moreover, Lowpad offers the option of installing opportunity chargers that are placed at strategic locations in the process. These are also wireless chargers installed in places like the waiting position in front of the handover. This helps optimize the process by enabling Lowpads to run longer and be used more efficiently.

The Lowpad system is designed to work safely alongside your staff in your warehouse. However, in some areas, you may need more space for your forklift truck or EPT to move around, or the Lowpad and other devices may intersect each other, causing disruption to the operation.

To avoid these situations, Lowpad provides a traffic light solution. Depending on the preferred traffic flow, either the Lowpad or the EPT will receive a stop sign. You can trigger the lights manually or allow the system to operate fully automatically. The Lowpads will then drive or stop completely autonomously, following the stop sign, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
