Customer story Arla – Case-picking
Arla, Denmark’s largest dairy producer, has a fast-moving case-picking operation. With many dairy products delivered from farm to shop within 24 hours, speed and efficiency are essential. Thanks to Lowpad automation, Arla has now taken this process to a new level.
What used to be a physically demanding process, with operators walking through the warehouse and manually moving heavy roll cages, is now a streamlined operation. By deploying 50 Lowpad S AMRs, operators now work in picking zones while the Lowpads transport the roll cages through the warehouse.
The result is reduced physical strain, improved use of the existing warehouse space, and greater insight into operational data.
