Automated marshalling process at Conway in Belgium.

Challenge

How to effectively transport goods in a larger warehouse with chilled environments

The warehouse expansion, driven by a broader product range, caused increased travel distances and demanded greater efficiency and flexibility due to limited manoeuvring space.

Solution

Automated marshalling solution

Conway found the ideal partner in Lowpad, offering not only AMRs that met all technical requirements but also hands-on support throughout the implementation process. Eleven Lowpad S robots were successfully deployed at Conway’s site, with the Lowpad Software seamlessly integrated into their warehouse management system (WMS).

According to Conway, the solution was intuitive to operate, quick to implement, and met every key requirement. Crucial factors included the Lowpads’ low entry height, exceptional manoeuvrability, and their reliable performance in a chilled environment.

Lowpad has successfully delivered a perfect solution within a short timeframe. Lowpad closely guided us in making automation a reality.
